This was us on Christmas morning. Aidan's first Christmas. He will not remember it so we took this picture to show him later. HAHA. I'm so tired. I need to sleep. Gotta keep on bloggin' though. Gotta do it as it happens! I will put video up of Aidan rolling over as soon as I can find out how to get it from my phone to my laptop.

OMG

He is so cute it hurts...

Sleeping in his CRIB!

It doesn't happen very often so when it does I have to get a picture of it. Here's Aidan napping on his Boppy in his crib. I had delusions that I was going to get lots of housework done during this nap. Unfortunately for me he only slept about thirty minutes. He doesn't sleep for long periods of time yet. I eagerly anticipate him learning to sleep after being put down.

Grandma reads a story

Aidan loves to visit Grandma. She does all kinds of neat things with him. On this day she was reading him a story about Christmas. He liked to see the colorful illustrations and watch the pages turn.

Laughing

Aidan is beginning to really smile and laugh now. I will eventually be able to catch a laugh on video but for now I thought this picture was a good representation of his huge laugh. If only there were a sound clip. He is so much fun to play with now!

Thumb Sucker

Aidan hasn't quite gotten the hang of thumb sucking yet but he loves to suck. He got lucky this time and instead of getting his entire fist in his mouth he got something a bit more manageable - his thumb. Hopefully he will learn to utilize this soothing technique. He has trouble keeping pacifiers in his mouth and that annoys him.

Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving with Allan's parents this year in Tyler. It is a family tradition to go to the tree farm the day after Thanksgiving to get a tree. Aidan was hungry and it was raining so he didn't have that much fun. But it was nice to have him out with the family anyway. Because of the rain we were encouraged to pick a tree quickly. :)
